Puffy Pals
Ready for adoption. Extremely soft, ready to sleep on your keyboard.
The capybara has already settled in. The otter has brought a bow. And the red panda? You will probably notice the tail first.
Puffy Pals is Myosorie’s series of handmade animal squishies: three little characters for the space beside your keyboard. They share rounded bodies and a fluffy-looking texture, but put them together and they make an oddly assorted group. One looks half asleep; another seems rather overdressed for an afternoon at home.
If you collect kawaii squishy toys, you may already know the feeling of choosing a favourite because of one very small detail. Here, there are a few worth getting close to.
The Capybara Squishy Has Already Settled In
There is very little urgency in the face of the Capybara Squishy. The narrow eyes, rosy cheeks and broad dark muzzle give it the look of someone who has found a comfortable spot and would prefer not to discuss moving.

Its cream-coloured belly breaks up the warm brown body. Both paws are raised, with tiny dark pads facing forward—a surprisingly cheerful pose for such a sleepy face.
That contrast is the appeal of this capybara squishy. It does not need an accessory. Beside an open notebook, it looks quite content to supervise absolutely nothing.
An Otter Squishy with a Blue Bow
The Cute Otter Squishy is the lightest-coloured member of Puffy Pals. Cream, brown and a small flash of pale blue: the bow is enough to change the whole look.

Look below the bow and you will find two broad feet with brown paw pads, then a long, rounded tail. The little mouth is more serious than the outfit suggests. Perhaps this was meant to be a formal visit.
Among the three animal squishies, the otter brings the clearest colour change. If your desk is already full of pale stationery and blue accents, this one will fit right in. The individual product photos are worth a look for the paw and bow details.
The Red Panda Squishy: Follow the Striped Tail
The striped tail of the Red Panda Squishy sticks out below its body, where you can actually see it. It is a small detail, but an important one when choosing a squishy of a favourite animal.

White cheek markings and little white brows frame the face. Below them, dark paws and a brown belly patch stand out against the textured body. There is more pattern here than on either of the other pals, so the red panda squishy is easy to pick out when the three sit together.
Fluffy-Looking Squishy Toys, Not Fabric Plush
At first glance, the photos can make Puffy Pals look like tiny plush animals. The fluffy effect comes from the textured surface, not fabric or fur. These are squeezable animal squishy toys, rather than stuffed toys.
You can see the difference most clearly around the smoother belly patches and paw pads. Those changes in surface give the designs something to look at beyond the faces, whether you keep one as a squishy desk buddy or display a few together.
Choosing a Gift for an Animal Lover
A favourite animal is a good place to start. If you are choosing for an otter collector, the bow may settle it; for someone who sends you capybara pictures all week, the decision is probably already made.
For your own desk, take a closer look at whichever one made you stop scrolling. That is usually more useful than trying to pick the one that matches everything.
Just leave a little room beside the keyboard. The capybara looks unlikely to share its spot.
